What is the Feelings Book? 

Due to the popular demand of children and families serviced by Communication Crossroads as well as the participants of our educational workshops, we have made our Feelings Book available for purchase.

The Feelings Book was designed to provide an easy to use format for fostering the “Three “E’s,” otherwise referred to as:

Emotional identification,

Emotional understanding,

Emotional regulation.

The SCERTS Model Manuals; Volume I and Volume II

The SCERTS Model manuals include a two-volume set, detailing SCERTS®, an innovative, research-based educational model for working with children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and their families. It provides specific guidelines for helping a child become a competent and confident social communicator, while preventing problem behaviors that interfere with learning and the development of relationships. The model also can help families, educators and therapists work cooperatively as a team, in a carefully coordinated manner, to maximize progress in supporting a child.

The SKIT Kit

Introducing the Social Communication Interactive Tool Kit (The SKIT Kit).

Designed by Amy Laurent and Emily Rubin in collaboration with LM Speech.  The SKIT Kit is comprised of 5 unique, visual tools that support successful social interactions, effective emotional regulation, and engaging play for individuals with a wide range of communication abilities.
